Creating substitute for approvar for Contract.

Hi

How to create a substitute for an approver in contract which is in awaiting approval stage . Contract is in "Awaiting approval" stage and approver is on long leave.

We need to substitute that user by another user and approve the contract .

i belive you can forward that workitem to another approver if your business allows.

Hi,

The approvers can set substitutes before long leave or always set a substitutes.

System admin can set substitute maintaining the table HRUS_D2.

Can't the requester change the current approver?

For a SC , it is possible, and BBP_CHNG_AGNT_ALLOW badi can be used

to prevent a change (ev_chng_buttons_disabled must be set to 'X').

Hi Lauren,

In SC there is option to set substitute where user can set his substitute, also admin can change substitute using rmps_set_substitute.

But I can't see such option in contract management. I am usring SRM 5.0

Hi,

Substitute setting is for inbox access. It does not depend on document in general.
