Substorage Location

Hello All,

My client wants at the time of GR first they have received goods main storage location then they have transferred to sub storage locations.

They want do all transactions at a time (at the time of GR only)

Hi,

You can put Main storage in MRP2 View for the material master.

after that in MIGO screen there is distribute among storage location ....just a button on item Details...click on that distribute to different storage location.

around 10 substorage location are there

even for 10 subs it is not possible.

if you immediatly take material into the substorage locations, then you dont need to do this step to receive first into the main storage location.

if there is a time difference between the receipt into the main storage and the distribution to the substorage locations, then it makes sense to do it in 2 steps.

But there is certainly no way to do it in one go, .......except you program it yourself and post the 2 movements with BAPI then.

Hi,

Create one main storage location where all your goods receipt qty will be stored initially, later using transfer posting transaction/ function you can move to other different/ sub storage location movement type 311. Assign all your storage location to your prrocurement plant.

I dont think we can maintain the hierarchy in storage location.

Either you maintain warehouse under the storage location.

Or do the Stoage location to storgae location transfer...
