No Portal roles assigned for this user

Hi One & All,

I have installed ECC 6.0 and Portal, I know only one user to log-in to portal i.e, J2EE_ADMIN. In R/3 I assigned two roles

SAP_J2EE_ADMIN

SAP_XI_MONITOR_J2EE.

When I log-in to poratl with J2EE_admin it is giving an error "No Portal roles are assigned for this user".

I dont know any other user to log-in to portal, how can I assign roles to J2ee_admin user?

Thanks,

KSanj.

roles which you assigned are for administration.in order to see the content in portal you have to assign some standard roles like end user role or ess if you have in portal

    Dear Sanj

"No Portal roles assigned for this user" error comes when no roles assigned for the user in portal.

So Please assigned the required role for this user by using any other super admin user id. Otherwise you can use SAP* user id for Emergency if you have no Super Admin user id.

    Thanks

in transaction su01 you should find

    sapjsf, J2EE_ADMIN and J2EE_GUEST.

    role in R/3

They should have the following roles assigned respectively:

J2EE_ADMIN is assigned the SAP_J2EE_ADMIN role in R/3.

SAPJSF is assigned the SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION and SAP_J2EE_GUEST

Please make sure it has super admin role and objects are added to role

and define entry points and portal permissions are defined which enable

the delegation of administrative tasks and content in the portal

    environment.
