Change cost element validity date

Dear all,

I need to change the validity date in cost element.

I am trying with ka02 > select that particular cost element > menu bar and select edit -analysis period > select other analysis period. I did input new one date and it was showing with existence in the list.

Finally I select new one. But when I am doing the "save" the message showing "No change were made".

Please advice me.

Hi Bishnu,

a new analysis period will only created, if you change the content of a time-dependent field.

Dear Abhisek,

I read this note.

In KA01 I can not extend the validity period. always showing "E: cost element already exits from 01.01.2003 to 31.12.999" but in my cost element the date is 01.01.1900 to 31.12.2003

Cost element: 417010

now I want to extend it : 01.01.2003 to 31.12.9999

How can I do this.

Please advice.

If it exists as to 31/12/2003, then you have to start from 01.01.2004. Also, please search SDN before posting; it has been answered dozens of times.
