MM Source List export to SRM Vendor List

Hi Friends ,

I learnt that we need to create the Vendor List in SRM separtly .

Can any one suggest/ confirm me , whether the Source List craeted in ECC , can be export to SRM ?

If yes , how ?

Hi

In ECC we maintain source list with reference to material, P.Org & Plant whereas in SRM vendorlist is with reference to Product or product category.This is the basic reason why SAP hasn't provided source list synchronisation as standard.

You may create a RFC FM for same.

source list is not vendor list

like

backe end contract you can transfer to local tract by SAP report.

but not like source list.

As Virender said , you can not transfer a source list to SRM from ECC as a Vendor list

SAP has designed vendor list like source list with little feature .but vendor list or supplier list not so popular .

Hi

Yes you need to create it manually in SRM. Few customers ve written programs in SRM to create Vendor list based on the data received from ECC through a RFC Call to ECC.

But as standard offering, Vendor list can not be created from Source list (ECC).
