tax jurisdiction code

Otherthan ship to party and plant, what are all the areas , where we can maintain tax jurisdiction code for(JR1 conditiontype) USA tax procedure?

Hi friends,

My tax procedure is taxusj and tax jurisdiction code is not maintained for ship to parties which are out of USA.But when billing document is released to accounting(of these ship to parties), in accounting document some US tax jurisdiction code is picking in taxes tab.From where it is picking?

Hi Seetaram,

Most of the cases the Street or City field is wrong in payer or payee address

this is only the reason for not picking the tax jurisdiction code automatically

Hi Ramanuja,

Thank you for sending the useful link. Here my issue is ship to is belongs to canada,(jurisdiction code is not maintained in master data).But in order JR1 condition type is triggering with Newyork jurisdiction code and in accouting tab florida jurisdiction code is triggering, from where system is picking these two jurisdiction codes.

Please advice me.

I will explain more specifically, ship to belongs to canada(No jurisdiction code is maintained in master data of ship to).In order JR1 condition type is triggered with NY jurisdiction code and after delivery and billing and when it is released to accouting, in accounting document(doc type is RV) under taxes tab -florida jurisdiction code is triggerring.we have not used external software for tax proceudre.how?
