do you know if it's possible to add a specific field in the basic order view?
It' a field that is not available in the preconfigured boxes.

You can use user-exit IWO10018 to add customer fields to the order header.
Unfortunately this is not on the HeaderData tab.
You could investigate the view profiles for orders
