Intresting Suggestions to improve the Time of replies

Hi All,

Before starting I like to add there is no intresting just to get attention that is added 😊

Ok coming to point

I thought of suggesting to add simple funcitionality which will increase the ratio of replies.

1) When I see a list of threads in ABAP forum ...I open a thread which is intresting to me.

when I click that thread ..I can see the answers below that eX: almost 10 replies...I would like to add my answer too...

So again I NEED TO click reply button and then only the editor will come....

when I open thread on the down Why dont we added a editor thread there???

I t will defintely decrease time , increase replies tooo....

Regards

Sas

    'scuse me?

...which would be more fun if people would use even more descriptive subject lines...

I'm not sure, wouldn't this inscrease the "asdf" type replies as well? If somebody wants to reply seriously with a non-redundant, non-copy/pasted, non-SMS-speak, non-single-link message, I think he/she would go the extra mile and click that button anyway. Also, you can reply to any particular message in the thread (important for quoting), how would the system know which one you are replying to with a single box at the bottom?

    Where is 2) ? 😉

I am sorry 2) I thought but I forgotten now what it is seriously 😊

ok coming to point I heard now a days moderators are having no much Job So this way we can create new Job...:)

Main point is now a days every one is too busy involved in trhier projects to reply sincerly..Although they are experts .

      >Also, you can reply to any particular message in the thread (important for quoting),

Its easy if you have technology provide check box to that so people know which one you are replying...Or else...

Mention name its more easy to say .....

You see you people are working in a high speed net ..where each page will come as flash ...I dont think every one has the same speed of net...

Some times it will take few minutes for me to load each page.....So I although people like to reply they will feel lazy to answer those...

      > Moderators work too, users headache too ,

      >if the replies increases in ABAP like (subject) forums then the PS is Confused to choose the answer from more replies

Surprise...I never know that people expect less replies 😊 Lol!!

Moderators can also delete if some one doing too headache to them

      >If so, this is so dangerous due to the fact that, you can change others' comments also which should not be the case.

This is not clear I dont understand why you said change others commetns ..If you are replying ...still you dont see the active of them

Ok all of you I want to give live example:

      http://www.indiamike.com/india/indian-railways-f10/post-your-waitlist-will-it-get-confirmed-queries-here-only-t91500/194/

Check this website...THis is exactly what I am saying....

if your interested in thread and giving reply. why don't you much interest to Click on Reply button "sometimes it is more interesting to click"

I t will defintely decrease time , increase replies tooo....

...(continuation) Moderators work too, users headache too ,

if the replies increases in ABAP like (subject) forums then the PS is Confused to choose the answer from more replies

You ca also post Your Interested Suggestion in here [Suggestions for forum improvements |suggestions-for-forum-improvements]

Not sure whether I understoon your explanation correctly. You mean to say if you open a thread, you should be in a position to reply with the continuation of earlier members' suggestion without clicking "Reply" button ?? If so, this is so dangerous due to the fact that, you can change others' comments also which should not be the case.

On the other hand, if you want to give a suggestion with a new reply box automatically, imagine those who dont want to reply but go through those suggestions. In my case, I dont prefer this due to the fact that if anybody has given similar suggestions, I will never give same sort of suggestion and hence, I continue with other threads.

    thanks

When opening a thread, you are first taken automatically to help.sap.com and then the forum areas wiki and then the sesrch, and then confirm opening the thread anyway?

    Cheers,
