Asset correction

Dear Sir,

I am trying to reverse an asset.

In t-code : AB08 after entering nece details it is giving error as follows:

This transaction can only be carried out for assets with active line item management.

However, line item settlement is not active in the asset class of asset 18200158 0 (company code 1000).

It was an AUC which was transfered to asset 18200158, how should i go about?
