UDO Screen locking

Hi,

2 users open same UDO screen and update/add records same time.

Also "Start Transaction" starts to update/add linked another tables when user update/add UDO record(Parent and child UDO) from UDO screen.

Problem is second user's screen is hang with locking when 2 users records are on same page.

Does SAP B1 use page level locking or record level locking?

If SAP B1 uses page level locking, how to solve this locking problem?

Hello Joanne Lee,

this is normal, after 1st user issued the document 2nd user comes.

You may reduce the transaction time as short as possible. and you may indicate the form itself to save the data if possible. I mean do not use custom code to save the data if it is possible.
