Validity Period for mediclaim ESS

Hi All,

I am facing following problem in case of Claims:

For medical claim in table V_T7INAA i have maintained 1 year.

When i execute PC00_M40_REMS report here i am getting correct validity period for mediclaim from 01.04.2010 to 31.03.2011

but when employee log into ESS validity period is appearing as 01.04.2010 to 31.03.2012

I have checked all the settings in R/3. I do not understand from wher this 31.03.2012 date is coming cause ESS will fetch data from R/3 and in R/3 everything seems to be correct.

Thanks & Regards,

Maitrayee

    Hi Maitreyi,

Please give the Year as 1 in the field C/F period (i.e., 01.04.2010 to 31.03.2011) if you wan't for 1 year only.

let me explain how it works

Begin Date / End Date : The extended eligibility period. Extended means

that the end date shall be the end date of the eligibility period

extended by the maximum carry forward. E.g. the eligibility period for

medical reimbursement shall be one calendar year with a possible one

time carry forward. As a result the system shall show for the

eligibility period of 2005 as begin date 01.01.2005 and as end date

    31.12.2006.

This is required to give information to the employee that If the

eligibility amout is not is not claimed in this year it may be claimed

till the end of next year in above eg.

    example :

The extended eligibility is maintained in table T7INAA in field CFPER

(Maximum Carry Forward Period). For the five reimbursement type in

which the end date appears to be not corrent (31/03.3007) this CFPER is

maintained as '999' and CUMTY(Cumulation Type) is maintained as 'Y'.

Please maintain the CRPER filed for the reimbursemnt types according to

    the business requirement.

So in the above test scenario there seems to be no issue with the End

    Date logic.

Thanks Siddharth for your prompt reply. I was validating with HR consultant in my team.

She is telling it has been maintained in the V-table.

When she executes PC00_M40_REMS report here, she is getting correct validity period for mediclaim from 01.04.2010 to 31.03.2011

but when employee log into ESS validity period is appearing as 01.04.2010 to 31.03.2012.

      Thanks so much for helping.
