FVA Posting few periods after First Consolidation

Hi All,

This is my first post on this forum - so first of all i want say hello for everyone.

We use SAP SEM BCS 7.00 - few periods ago my company took control on other company. On period in which takeover were made, we created some FVA positions and post some FVA activities - all worked well.

Now, after 3-4 periods we estimate new asset. We want use FVA activity, but there is some problem with posting - we expect get "Original Cost", but when we prepare FVA position in which Period of Capitalization is set on current period, Monitor on COI Activity show error.

Could anyone have same business problem? How we can resolve it?

Michal, welcome to SDN.

It is not clear as to whether or not you are using the CVA functionality. If so, please provide more details about what was posted and what specifically the errors are for the COI task. With more details about the scenario we will be better able to provide specific suggestions.

Dear Dan,

Yes, we are using CVA functionality.

On 2010003 period we took control over other company. In this period, we've created operation consisted with First Consolidation. One of this operation was few CVA activities.

On 2010007 we evaluate another asset, which unfortunately wasn't known in 2010003. Based on this, we haven't now CVA activity, on which we could use WriteUp functionality.

Off-course, we don't want to take step back to 2010003 period, due to consolidated data in next periods.
