Can't find my in ESB defined objects in the configuration Builder

Hi,

I'm new to PI and got a problem here...

I need to connect a SAP business system via IDoc with the SAP PI and on the other side I have to call an external service.

Therefore did I define the interface and mapping objects in Enterprise service builder. Now I wanted to do the configuration in

the configuration builder.

But I can't find any objects I have created. No interfaces, etc... What could be the problem here? Do I have to import something from the enterprise service builder to the configuration site, or is it just something I do wrong?

Thank you very much!

Michael

did you active the configuration in the ESR?

also take in mind that, when you try to select an service interface (Enterprice Service PI 7.1)in the Integration Directtory,by defualt there are some filters defined. so in the popup that is opened to select the structure you have to delete all those filter selecting ANY ANY for example.

    Hi Michael,

Have you imported the ESR content? Use one of notes below according to your system's version:

#1152640 - SAP NetWeaver 7.1 including EHP 1: Importing ESR content

#836200 - SAP NetWeaver 7.0: Importing Process Integration Content

#705541 - XI 3.0 (SP1 and higher): Importing XI Content

Also, try the cache refresh with the link:

    http://host:j2eeport/CPACache/refresh?mode=full

    http://host:j2eeport/CPACache/monitor.jsp

    - In Integration Repository/Directory go to menu Environment -> Clear SLD Data Cache

    - In R/3 go to transaction SXI_CACHE -> menu XI Runtime Cache -> Start Complete Cache Refresh

    Dear Michale,

But I can't find any objects I have created. No interfaces, etc... What could be the problem here

I think you need to try following:

    1. log on to SLD , choose your business system .Check what are the installed softwares(i mean associated SWCV)

    2. Go to technical system for the Bus Sys, Add the Product related to the SWCV in which you have defined your interface.

    3. Go to Business system again, now u will b able to see the SWCV listed , check the checkbox and save.

    4. Open ID , Env- SLD cache refresh.navigate to your Bus system and check if the interface lists now.

    Regards.
