ChaRM Authorization Set to Indevelopment

Former Member

Hi Friends,

I have assigned developer roles( Std role copied) to the user in Solman

Z_SAP_SOCM_DEVELOPER

Now when User Perform the action 'set into Development' it gives an error' You dont have authorization..."

Just I want to inform that user id in Satellite System Dev Client & In Solman is different. Is this the reason ?

When I use SU53 to find the object it shows objects CPE_SETTIN, CRM_IPMCON & CRM_RBAG

these objects are available in roles-ZSAP_SM_BATCH & SAP_PCC_IPM_RIGHTSMANAGER, when I assign these roles then also it says u dont have authorizations & even in SU53 it doesnt show any object.

Regards

PK

Hi All,

To deal with Authorization related issues do following things

1) Refer recent Security Guide SAP Solution manager

2) Use SU53 & SU01 for checking objects & roles

3) Status related object is B_USERSTAT, use this for allowing the status change to particular profile

4) If still not finding solution, then raise the OSS

Hi PK,

I used the same Role for Developer, and its working fine for me, I assigned the missing authorizations. Also check value of B_USERSTAT. This will decide which actions a user can perform as per user status.

Hi PK,

why don t use give yourself

- a SAP_ALL

- the s_rfc auth. object

- the s_rfcacl auth object

in both sides DEV & Satellite and retest.

If it does not work that would mean that user that is used for communication between solman and dev for TR creation is the currently logged user. As a result: each user has to have same User ID in both sides

Hope this will eventually help you

Khalil

Hi PK,

For the same user id, the user also needs to have the trusted system access in the satellite system in which he will be carrying out the development. Please ensure that the developer has this access in the development system

hi

i replied in your earlier thread as,

you shoudl have the below roles for the developer in the active client solman to set the status as in development.

Developer

SAP_CM_DEVELOPER_COMP(composite role)

SAP_CM_SMAN_DEVELOPER

SAP_SOCM_DEVELOPER

SAP_SOCM_REQUESTER

check and update.
