Hello everyone,
i have a question regarding SNC for SSO from one BOE to multiple SAP Back- Ends such as n BWs and n R3s using SAP cryptolib.
I only saw Documentation about connecting one BOE to one BW for example.
Is it generell possible to connect one BOE to multiple SAP Back- Ends using SNC for SSO?
Environment is BOE XI3.1 SP3 FP3.1 with SAPITK SP3 FP3.1
Thanks and Regards
-Seb.
Hi Sebastian,
why do you think that SNC is required ? For simple SSO there is no need for SNC

Hi Ingo,
thanks for your reply
The goal is to refresh and schedule WebI and CR Reports without entering User/Pass during refreshing/scheduling and to set the SSO option in the Universe.
Therefore i want to create a SNC connection to my n BWs and n R3s according the SAP ITK Installation Guide chapter 5.
Am i right or do i make anything wrong ?
Thanks and Regards

Hi,
yes - thats fine so far. But in the documentation(s) i see always a configuration from one BO to one SAP Back- End.
Here i need to configure it from one BO to n SAP Back- Ends.
The Question i have is, is that possible/supported ?
If yes do i have to create one .pse for each SAP System or only one .pse and in this .pse i import all the signed certificates by the SAP Back- Ends?
Thanks and Regards
-Seb.
Hi,
looks like its working. Thats the process:
1. Generate only one .pse
2. Generated the signing request for BW
3. Signed it in BW
4. Imported it into the .pse
5. Did the settings in the CMC
Same for the ERP system (without Step1.)
Followed the Steps from the SAP ITK Inst. Guide.
Thanks and Regards
-Seb.
