Need to know how MAV is calculated.

Hi all,

Price Control - S in MMR.

But MAV keeps on changing based on receipts and issues. Please find below the details.

Example: Price S - 37.5 and MAV - 38.29 ( July prices checked in MBEWH)

1) First std Price was changed

2) GR - 101 for Order

3) GI - 261 for Order

4) Again std Price was changed.

No invoices.

I would like to know how the MAV is calculated if the Price Control is 'S'.

hi,

example:

Std . price : 1.00

PO:

Stock account : 100 qty

GR: Stock a/c 100 and GR/IR 100

MAP : 100/200 = 0.5

@GR

Now you change the Std. price:

suppose S.P = 1.1

Gr : stock account = 100 Cr and GR/IR = 110 debit and PRD : 10

total value 110/ 200 = .55 and S.P = 1.1...

ie. MAP increase...

same SP as above,

GI of 50 pcs

postings:

Stock account debit = 50 pcs and GR/IR = 55

PRD : 5

now MAP = 55/150 = 0.36...

MAP decrease
