Hello,

We cannot login to infoview or CMC, while to trying to login we are getting this error "Error: Server 6400 not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) null"

When i check CCM SIA is running and tomcat is also running. And aslo i can see CMS.exe running in windows task manager. I also checked CMS database , its also working fine.

Evarything seems to be good, but i don.t understand why i cant login ti infoview or CMC.

We are on BO XI 3.1 sp3 ,windows platform.

Any ideas are appriciated.

Thankyou

Hi

What about Infoview?

In case you are using non-default CMS port, then hope you have provided <BOE Host name>:<CMS Port number> as your "System" parameter in login screen.

Make sure that CMS database connection is working fine.See if you can find any errors under applications in eventlog.

Gregg,

Have you tried login to Client tools (Deski, Designer), Also are you sure that CMS is running on 6400 port?

Or can you please restart the SIA and try again?

Thanks,

@Gokul, CMS database connection is working fine.

@Praneeth, We used the default port number 6400 since two years, its seems to be working fine till friday, suddenly we are facing this issue.

I have created another SIA node and its working fine now, but i dont understand why my old SIA is not working.

Any ideas are appriciated.

Hi Rakesh,

Have you created the new SIA connecting to same repository?

If you are connecting to same repo .. and if its working ..this might not be the issue with the repository(DB), Only thing that we need to check is whether CMS is running on the same port 6400 or not.

Hi Pranneth,

Yes i connected the new SIA to same CMS DB. I have created new CMS using the port 7400 and after i login to CCM i can see that my old CMS is still using 6400 port, but it is stopped and uable to restart it.

Thanks,

Yes Rakesh, you would not be able to start the old CMS..because it is connected to other OLD SIA.

Praneeth,

yes, you are right. But my question is why my old CMS stopped working suddenly. Any idea?

Sometimes it might be an port issue or Database connectivity issue.

I think its windows server right? I would first restart to check the issue.

Praneeth,

I have tried restarting the server, restarting SIA but no use, i also think that the problem is with ports, but i want to know the reason what caused it. Any idea?

Have you checked if it was restarted this weekend by any chance? You can find this info in windows logs.

May be when it started again it was not using the 6400 port, also you should check in SIA properties .... to see on which port CMS is running.
