Goods Issue against Reservation (Error in MB1A)

Hi All,

While doing Goods Issue (MB1A 261 Mov type) against Reservation for Production Order, even if Reserved qty and entered qty is same, we are getting the error message "Entered Qty is more than Reserved Qty for material".

But for that particular material , in CO03, in Component Overview, different line items are there with different batches. So in reservation list, with same reservation number, different line items are there for that particular material having different batches. But in MMBE, for each batch, stock is available

Please help to resolve this issue.

hi, please try by creating different reservation for different batches.

Hi ,

just check any alternative UOM problem for material means reserved qty u r looking in one unit and issuing qty in another unit.

And in mmbe just right click on reservation column and check reservation is open or not.

Hi rajendra,

I have checked UOM and MMBE.

UOM is same for reserved and Issued Qty.

In MMBE, reservation is showing still open.

But again, it is showing the same error as Entered Qty is more than Reserved Qty.

Dear Rosh,

What is the error message that you are getting?post the error no and class,just double lcik on the error message and check the

diagnosis for the same error message.

Are the components batch managed materials?check in CO03 in the top menu>goto>documented goods movements,check

whether already some goods movements has been performed

Check and revert

Error Number - 003

Message Class - ZSPR

Already checked in MM03. No Goods Movement happened for that material for the Production Order

Dear Rosh,

It seems the error message is a custmozed one and it's not a standard error message.

Might be for some enhancement work this error message has been created and it checks for some logic and if not satisfied this

error message is displayed,only by debugging you can understand the same.

Get the help from your ABAP consultant and go ahead.

Check and revert

Please check in MB51 and confirm whether you have issued any qty against the same process order.

When i checked the settings, it is showing "Automatic/Manual without check" against 261 mov type. Should i change something here?

I have checked the same scenario in our testing client and is working fine. Here, against 261, it is "Automatic/Manual Creation without check".

I have checked. It is not working.

Dear,

Go to OMCQ and convert message 'M7 362' to 'W' then system will show only warning.

I think this will solve your problem

Hi Abhinay,

But if we do like this, whenever Issued Qty is more than Reserved Qty, system will accept which is wrong. But now in this case, even if Issued Qty is equal to or less than reserved Qty also, system is throwing error message.
