Xcelsius and SAP Web services - Bypass authentication

I created an Xcelsius report. This report uses Web Services to get data directly from SAP. When users try to view the report, they are asked to input their SAP authentication. Is there a way to bypass this? Or embed userrname/password somewhere?

You probably have to create a SSO between SAP and the portal (?) where the dashboard is displayed.

Is the dashboard siplayed in a portal ? If yes which one ? If no, where are you displaying the dashboard ?

The password problem only excists while testing in Xcelsius. When you test inside SAP, no login will be asked, be cause you`re already insde the system. However, to answer your question:

Yes: it is possible: You can add parameters to your data request (URL) which contain the login information. However, this will make your name and password visible for everyone to see!! (So only use for test purpose!)

The parameters are called u2018XacuteLoginNameu2019 and u2018XacuteLoginPasswordu2019

      Good luck!
