Appraisals - Desciption not coming

I am trying to get the description of the appraisal elements. I maintain both the standard and weblayout description, select 'Name and description' under text layout. But when I go to the ESS/MSS, the description is missing. Any other configuration required for this?

Hi,

You need to do some html settings to the text under weblayout if ur using BSP ,if ur using the webdynpro you need to do xhtml for text .

I am using webdynpro but I am not able to see the description in BSP also. Can you send me a sample html or xhtml text so that I can try that. I remember that earlier I just used to put in plain text and it used to show. Don't know whats the problem now.

Is there any BADi or some other setting which we have to enable for this?

We faced a similar issue. The problem was with authorization. The users should have authorization to IT1002 and also HAP and HRHAP tables. Check that.
