The Disp+work.exe becomes greyed out during restart of R/3

we have an R/3 4.6c version running on orcale 8 database , whenever i used to restart the r/3 system the disp+ work.exe becomes greyed out in sap mmc and the server status is always shown in yellow and hence the server doesnt get started

disp + work.exe ---> running but bad dialog queue time

Can you please help me with this ?

check in the WORK directory.

look for contents of files dev_w0, dev_disp and dev_ms

After restarting the oracle and then R/3 system , the problem gets solved ,

Hi Rbedi,

Please post the developer trace of disp+work, thats easy to analyse the issue.

If possible update the Kernel and try. That will solve.
