Error in ESS for Personal Information

Dear Experts

We are getting 'Type conversion error, field BEGDA, complex type class com.sap.xss.hr.per.in.pdata.model.Hcmt_Bsp_Pa_In_R0002 ' error when editing/deleting personal information .

Can you please suggest the solution?

Hello Hema,

Please check the usecase for the IT002.

It should be

40 0002 A1

and the time constraint should be 1 for IT002.

There might be a mismatch in the records here in your system.

Also try to restart the j2ee engine again, Some times it will also help in correcting the error.

Please check out the same.

USe case and TC properly maintained. Portal consultant has restarted J2ee engine again. no luck any further clue?

it seems

there is some authentication issue in portal.Check with the Portal guys for authorizations.

Hi

There is no Authorization issue. As this issue is for every user. Rather it started after SP upgrade.

Any clue?

Are the EP part and your backend HR part on compatible levels?

Are you reusing ESS Country screens?

Yes they are @ compatible level. It was working fine before SP level upgrade.
