Hello,
I have created a unplanned depreciation action of an asset by using ABBA and posted the unplanned depreciation by AFAB.
Later, I found that this asset should not post any depreciation. Can I ask are there any ways to correct this mistake action?
Many thanks
Sunny
Hi,
You can't reverse a unplanned depreciation which is already posted. The only way is to post write up unplanned depreciation with the same T-code. Check whether there is any transaction type exists which can reduce the unplanned depreciation. If there is no such transaction type exists, then create another transaction type by copying unplanned transaction type and change the credit to debit.

Hi,
I posted unplanned depreciation write up with ABAA.
I have defined new transaction type with following parameters...
Debit transaction (*) - Selected
Consolidation transaction type - 220
Other fields do not contain any value.
No matter whether it is ABAA or ABZU. The functionality is depended upon transaction type.

Hi,
Sunny.
The best way you can post the Write up depreciation for correction measures. It will take your asset value as to desired.
Use ABZU for the same.
If you have any doubts feel free to ask. I hope this may help you.
