Business Views for LOV - Try improve performance

I'm looking for help with reagrds to business views to try improve performance.

My understanding is that you can use business view manager to make LOV beforehand. So that when your report executes it does not look in the database. I however see no increase in performance. I'm trying to use this on a SAP system.

I have created a LOV list. I have scheduled it. In crystal reports i have linked it to the prompt.

I would like to know the following.

1) From business view manager is their a way to see the values it has created after the schedule. Where does it store this pre run values?

2) Is their a debug or way to see that the crystal report uses the LOV.

Thanks in advance 😊
