Hi Experts!!
if Production Order is already Closed, the
Raw Material Consumption, Indirect Material Consumption, and WIP Consumption which are the expenses should be closed too?
thank you in Advance.
Hello,
Does it mean when you did TECO to production order and after that you post the direct and indirect material consumption ?
Have you done the order settlement? What is the status of order?
This is as per the standard SAP system design system allow the good movements after order is TECOed.
transaction BS22, enter 'I0045' (TECO) and double-click on SysSt I0045 Check that RMWA (Goods Movement), RMWL (Goods Issue Delivery) and SDGI (Post Goods Issue) are set as 'Forbidd.' which can prevents the TECO orders good movements

What i mean is, during the production of material, we usually have a journal entry of
DR Raw Material consumption and CR Raw Material Inventory
DR Indirect Mat Consumption and CR IM Inventory
DR WIP Consumption and CR WIP Inventory
which those consumptions are all expenses.
After the product is already finished, we TECO and Closed the Production Order. then we deliver the product.
After Closing the production, do we need closed also the RM Consumption, IM Consumption, WIP Consumption to make it ZERO? because these are the expenses of the production order.
Hello,
Could you please elaborate your requirement?
Production order closed means after completion of confirmation and settlement the order is fully closed for further processing.
You can close the production order only when you have full settlement done.
Please refer SAP help document on it,
