Hi Experts
I am new to the CRM MIDDLE WARE could you please tell me how gets replicated from ecc to crm like what is function modules for the mapping and extraction of materials from ecc and which function module is involved in moving it into the crm total life cycle of the material replication.
Thanks&Regards
Hari
Hi.
On R3AC1 transaction, for object MATERIAL, you can see the function module that maps the information as soon the Bdoc message from ECC arrives at CRM.

Hi Hari,
When using transaction R3AS for initial load from R/3 to CRM, You can start this trxn in debug mode. That way you'll get to know what FMs are called at the CRM side before the formation of queues. Also if you're using a dialog user, you can debug R/3 as well from the CRM system( i mean the extractor which is present in CRMSUBTAB table of R/3)
Hello Hari,
When you trigger the initial load of object MATERIAL in CRM txn:R3AS, then middleware will make an RFc call to
the extractor which is CRS_MATERIAL_EXTRACT in this case, which is responsible for extracting the material data. Then
FM CRM_FILTER_DOWNLOAD_DATA
would be called to consider the filters set on child segments like MVKE,MLAN etc, filters are set in txn:R3AC1.
After this CRS_SEND_TO_SERVER,followed by the user exit would be called to send the BAPI structures to CRM.
In CRM, BAPI structures would be converted to MBdoc by mapper module which is COM_MAP_BAPIMTCS_TO_PROD_MAT.
After whcih validation module COM_PRODUCT_MAT_VALIDATE would be called to validate the data.
After the validation, MW modules will be called (CL_SMW_MFLOW~PROCESS_OUTBOUND) to trigger the MBDoc formation.
Get back to me if you have any further clarifications.
Hope this helps!
Best Regards,
Shanthala Kudva.
