View and Componnet Interface

Hi

Request your confirmation with the below queryon WD4A develpoment, please.

1. Can i call a View V1 of Component C1 in other Component C2? Same with Context and Attribute?

2. I have 10 Road Map Steps, Can i navigate dynamically to any ROAD MAP dynamically?

3. Can i simaltanusly display, Views from two different components?

4. On Portal i Have iView created using View1 (V1) from component (C1) can i hide V1 of C1 and Display V2 of C2, in the same Portal iView?

    hi,

    1. Yes, you can call the view1 of C1 in C2.Make sure that you add C1 as a used component in C2.

    To make the context of a view available across components, you will have to make the context as interface.

    2. yes you can dynamically move to any road map step.Bind the selected step property of roadmap to a context , then set the context to the Id of whichever roadmap step you want to move to.

    3.Yes you can display views form 2 different components.Use a viewcontainer UI element to embed the view inside a view.

    4.not sure of 4th.:)
