Is it possible to have multiple transport paths in the same domain. Here is the scenario I am tryinng to achieve.
Domain Controller: RPDEV
Existing Path (All systems are dual stack):
RPDEV->RPQA->RPPRD
Path to Add (All systems are Java only):
DIDEV->CPDEV->CPQA->CPPRD
I have read the guide on help.sap.com and cannot see any reason as to why these paths cannot co-exist in the same Domain. Does anyone know of any reason as to why this would not be possible?
Hello Jon,
yes, thatu2019s fine to have to have multiple transport routes in the same domain.
For the Java only systems you just need the z consolidation routes. There is no need for an SAP consolidation route.
For ABAP only or dual stack systems, you must have the SAP consolidation route.
Regarding your scenarion, it's OK and will work, there's no problem to have a java only route and an abap/dual stack route within the same domain.
