Posting to Unrestricted stock without inspection lot

Hi,

Can i do the posting of material against PO into unrestricted stock by chnaging the stock type in MIGO though 01 inspection active in material master?

As FireFighter said, You can post the stock to Unrestricted stock upon GR if 'post to insp. stock' not checked in the QM view of MM. When you do GR, select the 'unrestricted stock' as stock type.

Remember simple logic,

\If Qm view is active with 01 inspection type then lot will be created even if you try to post forcefully into unrestricted

If an inspection lot has been created, you MUST post the stock via the inspection lot.

If you don't want inspection lots in the future, you should deactivate the 01 inspection type in the material master.

If you want the inspection lot, but you want the material to go directly to unrestricted stock, activate the 01 inspection type in the material master but make the indcator "post to insp. stock" is not checked.
