Hi;

For printing and sending purchase orders to suppliers I use a SMARTFORM form.
I would like to print on the form only once the delivery address if it is the same on all the items of the purchase order.
How to know that the delivery address is the same on the items of the purchase order?

Thank you for your help.

Hello Jurgen;

Thanks for your reply and sorry for the delay.

We have created our own smartforms form according to the specifications of our purchasing department. Because the standard form is not suitable.
After my research on this subject, the fields in EKPO addressing the address are: werks, lgort, adrnr, emlif, kunnr, adrn2. The value of these fields depends on the input when creating the PO or its origin. I'm currently testing a form that will give me an indicator to identify whether the address is unique or not.
(A bit of humor, if we keep the wheel already invented we will always use horse-drawn saddles or cars, it would be fun)

Best regard and thank you

Nothing against improvements, but if it ends like this....

Basically if EKPO-ADRN2 is equal for all items then the delivery address is equal for all items.

But why would you need to care about this yourself, did you reinvent the wheel? SAP standard print program does this determination already and places the delivery address into the header if all delivery address are equal, or next to the items if they are not equal.
