Hi Sap,
When there is a connectivity between C4C and Non SAP external system, does the ID mapping apply for Customers and Products?
Regards
Patan Rabbani.
Hi Rabbani
Integrating with a non-SAP System, you need to use A2X Interfaces also called as C4C API's.
For e.g. You need to use QueryCustomerIn or ManageCustmerIn.
These API's do not use ID Mappings and Code List mappings, so you need to consume these API's from your external system with C4C Object IDs.
C4C API List - https://help.sap.com/doc/8ed4581a228646178e4f8cc38b0cf951/1902/en-US/IntegrationServices.html
However if you still end up integrating external systems using SAP Business System interfaces for e.g. "Business Partner Replication to SAP ERP" then these interfaces will check for ID Mappings and Code List Mappings.
Hope this helps.

Hello Patan Rabbani,
The standard way of updating Customer or Products, for example, is through replication using any of the standard interfaces provided by SAP.
I hope this have helped.
