How to embed Xcelsius swf in SharePoint site?

What is a simple way to embed an excelsius dashboard into a sharepoint page? Can the embeded dashboard be sourced from the InfoView repository using opendDoc or does it have to be manualy uploaded to SharePoint. How are security permissions recognized in these cases?

What is the difference between simply embedding an SWF versus a product like SharePoint integration Kit?

You have two options:

1. You can store the swf file on sharepoint as any other document and use the link to this document to embed the dashboard in SP.

2. You can store the swf file on Infoview and point to this document via openDoc statement

In both case, security can be setup to prevent some people viewing the file. It is configured in SP for point 1 and in Infoview for point 2.

I'm not familiar with the SharePoint integration kiet but I guess it eases the importation of a dashboard to sharePoint. But I think you can do it without.
