Query design problem in BW Modeling Tools

Hello,

I am on 7.5 SP01 BI on HANA. I have sapall.

I tried to use new query design in BW Modeling Tools but I have some problem with variables. I created a variable (characteristic, manual input, selection option, optional, input ready) for a simple Infoobject and added that to the filter value in my query, but a have got error messages:

"The variable does not exist or use incorrectly."

"An error has occurred. See error log for more details. while trying to invoke the method com.sap.bw.qd.model.query.Variable.getDescription() of a null object returned from com.sap.bw.qd.model.query.SelectionVariable.getVariable()"

The same query does not have any error in query designer. I can build my query with its variables without any problem.

Any idea? Did anyone meet similar error message?

Does it depends on sp or bmt version? Or is there any settings missing?

Thanks,

Anita

Hello,

Some printscreens.

1. Error message while saving query with variable in BMT.

2. The variable.

3. I created another variable. The only difference is that it represents SINGLE VALUE not SELECTION OPTION.

4. Here is the CSORDER characteristic.

I can't understand what is the problem. Is it a bug? Does it work on higher SP-s? Or do I have to set something in the infoobject?

Please, answer.
