Full and Final Settlement

Hi Experts,

Please help me to meet the below requirement..

The client wants to post the Full and Final Settlements as and when it has been processed.

But the payroll area is monthly .

The scenario is as follows.

Let an employee put resignation on July 15th 2010 and his notice period is 15 days

So the organisation wont run the payroll of that particular employee for the month of july'10.

His payroll will be processed along with his Full and Final Settlement only.

The termination action will be performed with date 31st July 2010 and the Full and Final is processed on 15th of Aug'2010.

They want to post the same on 15th of Aug 2010 itself.

For this I have to make the control record to Exit Mode of August 2010.

But the normal payroll of remaining employees has to be run on 30th of August 2010.

So if I am making the status of the control area to Exit Mode on 15th Aug 2010, for normal payroll run I have to delete the control record and have to recreate it which is not advisable.

Kindly help by suggesting alternate processes (if any).

Thanks and Regards

Kiran

Hi,

I already tried with dummy payroll area. The problem with dummy Payroll area is as follows.

Offcycles are run on 10th and 20th of every month.

So if an employee is resigned / terminated after the offcycle run then we cant change the Payroll area.

Also the payroll area has to be changed in the beginning of a period.

Kindly help

Thanks and Regards
