Revenue reports problem

Dear All,

This is related to some problem coming in report. When ever i am recieving revenue on projects process is running fine. But i cant see the data properly in reports. we have 2 kind of reports for revenue in sap one is hierarchial and second is based on cost element. Now when i am getting the revenue on the projects, in hierarchial reports i can see only plan revenue and not actual revenue after billing. While in cost element reports i cant see planned revenue but i can see actual revenue. It means in both reports i cant see complete figures.

Kindly help me in this.

Hi,

Now you can observe the following points in the std Reports:

S_ALR_87013570 - Actual/Plan/Variance report: Here you will see only costing relavent information(though it is given in Revenue menu)

S_ALR_87013564 - Plan/Actual/Variance: Which is Revenue Hierarchy Report,

here you can see "the planned revenue vs Actual Revenue" of for your project (Planned revenue i.e., planned in CJ42)

If you want to see Actual Revenue/Planned Revenue/Actual Cost/Planned cost for your project now you can execute the following report: S_ALR_87013568-Project Results.

Pl. revert back us still if you have any issues.

Hi,

Can you check cost/Revenue planning profile with the following information.

1.check the assignment of "RElem.f.billing plan".

2.check the assignment of revenue cost element group.

And also let us know, which Hierarchy Revenue reports and Cost Element Reports you have executed in your system.

Hi Vemula,

In my project we are not using billing plan for revenue to project. Revenue is coming only from sales order line with account assignment of WBS element.

I have assigned cost element group. (What i know this is not necessary if we tick " From sales order" in automatic revenue planning.

I am running report S_ALR_87013564 - Plan/Actual/Variance which is showing planned revenue but not actual revenue and after that i am running report S_ALR_87013570 - Act/Plan/Variance Abs./ % Var. which is giving me actual revenue but not planned revenue.

I hope it will clear you the issue in more detail. In case of further clarification revert back to me.

Which reports you have tried? are columns for the actual/plan coming or its juts data in those columns are not coming?

Hi Harsh,

When i am running report given by you i am getting the column but i am not getting the actual data in that column. But if same project project i will run the report S_ALR_87013570 than i will see the actual reveneu but in that case plan revenue will not come in that report.
