Healthcare Reform - Update Dependents eligibility age to 26

Hi all,

I am trying to update the configuration for existing plans. The current eligibility age we have is up to 20, unless they are a student then it is up to 24. With the Healthcare reform changes, we need for all of our current plans to allow dependents(regardless of student status) to be eligible for the plans up until age 26 for this coming 2011 enrollment year. I have tried to delimit the current Dependent Eligibility Rule starting 01/01/2011 with the new ages(Reg age 25 and student 25), but that didnt work. I have also tried to create a whole new Dependent Eligibility Rule for those ages and assign the rule variant to the plan starting 01/01/2011 and that did not work. It still reads the old age rule of 20 to 24.

Can anyone walk through the steps on how to update current plans with the new age rule for dependents? Thanks for any help!

Denise
