We are using Business Object Enterprise XI R2, SP5, Oracle 10g.
The report file(.rpt) is designed in Crystal Report designer using Oracle stored procedure and
it looks like fetching from Database to Business Object takes some time.
I have read a document "business objects Semantic Layer" because we have report timeout issue.
I am wondering how to see or modify the current array fetch size.
Detail instruction would be welcome.
Thanks,
Sung
In the Designer go to Tools>Connection. Select the relevant connection and click Edit, it will show you the data source name and log in credentials. Click Next and you will reach Configuration Parameters screen where you will be able to see Arrary Fetch Size.

Hi,
As i u said you are connecting to your oracle database with stored procedure then i dont think you are using semantic layer(universe) to connect to Oracle database.Array Fetch size is some thing we set in universe designer so it will not be applicable in your case.
Let me if i am not clear.

Thank you for your answers.
1. I am using Crystal Report Designer(Prodcut version: CR developer 10.0.0.1282) and there is no 'Tool" manu(--;)
2, If I am not using Business object symantic layer, it might be governed by the Oracle Driver that we are using on Crystal Report Server box. Does it make sense??
Have a good day!
