SRM MDM catalog 3.0

Dear Experts,

Could you please help me in the below queries regarding SRM MDM catalog 3.0?

1. Do we need to install Netweaver MDM for installing SRM MDM catalog or we can install SRM MDM catalog 3.0 without installing MDM?

2. Do we need to pay separate license fee for SRM MDM catalog 3.0 or SRM 7.0 licensing fee include SRM MDM catalog3.0 as well?

Hi Ranjan.

1. Yes, you have to set up a landscape MDM to have SRM-MDM Catalog to launch.

2. License basically based on the scenarios on which you are purchasing (Self Serice Procurement(this includes Catalog as well), Contract Management, Sourcing etc). But still as suggested by Shiv, it is best to check with SAP.

Hi Ranjan,

Below are answers as per my knowledge:

1. SRM-MDM Catalog is a package which contains MDM server and some mandatory clients. For SRM-MDM Catalog, installation of MDM Server is MANDATORY and you can not proceed with out it...

2. As far as i know SRM-MDM Catalog is free with SRM 7.0. But you should ask this quesiton to SAP. they will be the best person to reply to this quesiton....
