ESS Leave approval - workitem not completed after Netweaver EHP1 SP7

Hi,

We are facing an issue with Leave request application. Currently the issue is with the LEAVE APPROVAL task.

Details of the issue are as follows

Employee applies for Leave request and Line Manager approves this workitem. However, the workitem remains in status started and the task remains in manager's UWL. However, if the manager re-open this uwl task again, it opens up an empty approval task box.

I have observed that ApprovedFlag in the workflow container is not being set, even if the workitem is being approved.

System details

There has been a latest patch update on Netweaver EHP1 SP7. Current Netweaver release is NW 7.01 SP7

Can you please advise on this.
