Dear

In REM settlement is against a period. Because production is not dependent by order. So to settle the cost for all the orders in certain period ex. for a month product cost collector is required. In this product cost collector, cost will store for all the orders.

You will have predefined Production Version and you will carry out Settlement in KKF6N

In Production order or process order, settlement against each order. So no need to create product cost collector. But in Discrete also you can make use of PCC based on the Business Requirement .

In discrete settlement have following stpes :

1.KKAX-WIP Analysis

2.KKS2-Variance analysis

3.KO88-Settlement

Hope this gives you the idea

Hi SAP125,

In REM there is no Production order the cost is incured in Prodect cost collector so for REM settlement the product cost collector is settled or the cost is calculated in balance sheet for a perticular fiscal year and Product cost cullector is carry forward its depend on your business.

In Descret manufacturing cost incure in Production order and you settle Production order

YOu can use - KO88 - for Order settlement

and CO88 - For Product cost collector settlement

Take help of your CO consultant
