Cannot change Requestor/ Recipient in PO

Hi all

I'm using SRM 5.5. I'm having problem to change requestor/ recipient in PO whom had left the org.I'm trying to change the olf requestor/ recipient to new and valid person but system throws few errors and they actually referring to the old invalid person.

Partner xxx not found with partner function type Goods Recipient

Partner xxx not found with partner function type Requester

No address found for partner function type Goods Recipient

No address found for partner function type Requester

User does not exist

The xxx is BP for requestor/ recipient whom had left the org.

We encounter this issue several times and initially we adviced user to use BKM which is by changing the requetor/ recipient before PO owner leave, but it doesnt really effective that way. They tend to forget and let go and causing this issue.

Hi

Best option is to let a person with Central recipient role take care of the Confirmaitons and other follow on documents.

If you still want to update the Goods Recipient in the PO, then Update the records of this PO in CRMD_PARTNER with new Goods Recipient's BP GUID. Each document has an entry in CRMD_PARTNER table for the respective partner functions. Look for the records of this PO with partner function 20 (Goods Recipient)

Also change the Old Requestor's GUID and replace it with valid Requestor's GUID in CRMD_PARTNER table.

One more alternative is - If you still have old Requestor's Central Person and business Partner in SRM Org structure, tie that with an existing employee temporarily using USRS_GEN and then let the valid id tied to those old elements take over the cart/PO
