MATMAS04 New segments

Can I add new segements or change directly to a type of segment of the MATMAS04? Or i should create a specific extension?

Hi you won't be able to add/change the segements in the standard Idoc definition.

you need to extend it.

Hi,

If you want to add new segment to MATMAS04.. create a new segment with required fields using WE31 and then we can add this segment to MATMAS04 using we30.. where you have to choose extension radio button.. once you add segment to MATMAS04. you have to link up message type,idoc type and extended idoc using WE82... and maintain partner profile and port for extended idoc.. in the driver program not enough to create the idoc for extra segment.. so you have write the logic in the exit..
