Hi
We have Solution Manager 700 (SP17) and ECC 6.0 (Quality Server) in one machine.
We want to upgrade our Solution Manager to 701 (EHP1).
Since there is only one C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SAPSTARTSRV.EXE (file version 7000.175.15.24019) in the machine, will it affect my quality server when I upgrade Solution Manager Kernel from 700 to 701 ?
Our Quality Server ECC Kernel is 700 Patch Level 175.
Please remember that both of these SIDs are in the same Windows 2003 Server 64 Bit Edition and we want to upgrade only Solution Manager.

Hi,
This will definately give problem in opening the systems in MMC. If 2 SID's are maintained in a single host , the kernel level should be same.
I faced this issue and solved by upgrading the kernels to same level.
