Hello,
The business process objects in BOBF are already defined for processes that are not exactly in sync with the transaction apps that SAP CRM uses. So,my question is , is it safe to create custom business process objects for CRM or wait for the end to end support of Odata V4 to see if they come up with something for CRM?
And, is it preferred to use Odata V2 to Odata V4 for moving the solution to the (planned) end-end support of Odata V4 protocol?
Best Wishes,
Hiran
Thanks Andre. So its best to use CDS for read and BOPF for write and update using Odata V2 for now?

Hi Hiran,
the SAP Fiori Programming Model for SAP S/4HANA 1809 that does use CDS and BOPF does not support OData V4.
An end-2-end support with SAP Fiori Elements is right now only available for OData V2.
An end-2-end support for OData V4 is only planned for a future version the ABAP RESTful Programming Model which is planned to become available with an upcoming version of SAP S/4 HANA.
So you should proceed with OData V2 for the time being.
Regards,
Andre
