Hi Experts,

In Selfservice procurement classic scenario:

After creation of SC, all approvals have been done.As per configuration PO created in R/3 system.

Now if we want to change some field values in PO(R/3 system),what will happen in SC values and approval proceess.

Please give me clear idea as per standard process, and also is there any BADIs for this.

Thanks

Reshma

Hi Reshma

if you deleted a standard Purchase order and if you have defined for sourcing cart again venture to cockpit for the buyer for re-sourcing.

I tried this scenario by changing the Item quantity of a PO.. The corresponding SC was not informed about that..

This proves that once SC approved PO is the leading document for R/3..

Thanks!!

Hi

In Classic Scenario, once the cart is approved, PO will get created in Backend which can be modified there. If there is any change made in the PO in backend, SC does not get affected except PO and other documents get updated in Shopping cart follow on documents.

You either give limited access to your users in ECC to restrict changes to the PO. Recommended approach is to either reject the PO and create a new SC or Create a new shopping cart for the delta procurement (if there is any increase in qty)

Hi reshma

once you approved shopping cart means REQUESTER may not edit his sc data .

can you tell me which field you are editing in the PO and what you are expecting to change in the shopping cart ?

be specific.

we can test them.

SC - required data copy into the next follow on documents.

Nothing. Just items PO data (quantity, price, etc.) will be updated in SC history for corresponding items.
