Issue in BC_DBLOGS archiving.

Hello Experts,

I am doing archiving of BC_DBLOGS using sara transaction. When I am executing write job in production mode for any particular period, job is getting executed successfully but its not creating any file is OS level.

Did anyone face such issue in the past?

Please suggest how can I fix this issue?

Either there is no data picked up by the write job, thus no file will be created, or something is not ok in the customizing.

Hello Michal,

You are correct, we identify that after doing TAANA analysis of dbtablog table.

But we are facing strange issue when we are executing delete job. Below is the error meesage:-

**001336-026BC_DBLOGS is not accessible in the storage system; can therefore not be deleted**

Would you have any idea why we are getting this error message?

What does the write job say in the job logfile?

Delete job log says,

001336-026BC_DBLOGS is not accessible in the storage system; can therefore not be deleted.

There were total 45 file generated during write job. When I execute delete job, for more than 15 files I got above error. When I checked management console for a particular file for which I got above error, status say delete completed and file is accessible.

Contradict statement, job log is telling not accessible so not be deleted and management console says delete completed and file is accessible.

I am wondering why did I get above error message in delete job log and what does this mean, what were the reasons of getting above error and how can we avoid it?

If you have any idea of this issue. please advise.

Write job did not show any error. Its say job completed successfully.

Again I am facing same issue but this time we are getting with different error in job log. When I am executing BC_DBLOGS write job, other job like ARV_BC_DBLOGS_STO201* are also getting generated.

In some of the job log of ARV_BC_DBLOGS_STO20* file is showing below error:-

Job started

Step 001 started (program RSARCH_STORE_FILE, variant , user ID BPANT1X)

Archive file 001346-002BC_DBLOGS is being processed

SSF error: Invalid signer

Archive file 001346-002BC_DBLOGS cannot be stored

Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE

Does anyone know why we are getting "SSF error: Invalid signer" and How can we fix it?
