BC sets upload in tcode SCPR3 ends with error

Hello all,

I am facing an error while uploading BC sets using tcode SCPR3. below is the error i am getting

System settings forbid changes to Switch BC Sets HRTMC_V_TWPC_ARRAYTP_ENH_01

Message no. SCPR824

Diagnosis

You cannot change/maintain Switch BC Set HRTMC_V_TWPC_ARRAYTP_ENH_01, because of the current system settings.

This may be because:

u2022 The Switch HRTMC_EA_SFWS_UI_ENH_01 assigned to the Switch BC Set is not active in the current client

u2022 Switch BC Set recording is not active in the current client

u2022 The system is not an SAP system

u2022 The current user is not authorized to change BC Sets

System Response

You cannot go to change mode, or maintain the Switch BC Set.

Procedure

Check for these possible causes.

I am not able to resolve this. I think i am missing some Authorization but i have SAP_ALL authorization.

Can anybody help in gettign this resolved. I am impoerting OADP configuration related to SAP HR module.

Hello Mani,

Make sure that the customizing changes are allowed in the client where u r trying to activate the BC Sets. This can be checked in the tcode SCC4. Change the settings if needed and then try to activate the BC Sets again.

The settings in SCC4 is same as suggested by you, 'Automatic recordign of changes' and 'Changes to Repository and cross-cleitn Customizing allowed'. but still its giving me same error.

is there any other thing i need to do?

Please follow the steps:

To implement and activate the Switch BC Sets you must perform the following steps:

Please keep your BC-Sets ready for upload:

1. Download the attachment to your local hard disk. When you do this, do not change the name of the file.

2. In transaction SCPR3 (display and maintain BC sets), you can use the key combination "Shift+F8" to upload this switch BC set and therefore replace your version. You can ignore the message stating that the system settings do not allow any changes to the switch BC set.

3. Call transaction SCPR20 (activate BC sets).

4. Enter the name of the switch BC set and press F7 to activate the switch BC set.

5. If the activation using transaction SCPR20 does not work, use the program SCPR_COMP_ACT_BCSETS_CLI_DEP or SCPR_ACTIVATE_SBCSETS to activate the switch BC set.

6. Your system now has the delivered version of the switch BC set "ISUT_EPDC_L".

If not follow these steps:

Contact Support to obtain the a file that contains the current version of the Switch BC Set IS_EPDTYPE_C.

Save these files locally on your hard disk.

Use transaction SCPR3 to upload the files. You can ignore the message stating that the system settings do not allow any changes to the Switch BC Set.

Use the program SCPR_ACTIVATE_SBCSETS or the program SCPR_COMP_ACT_BCSETS_CLI_DEP to activate the Switch BC Set.
