Universe Metadata in a report

Looking for an automated way of extracting Universe Metadata: "high level view of tables, attributes, and metrics that are mapped into a specified universe". I attempted this from Universe Designer pdf, but the output was unacceptable as far as readability and look and feel. Our Metadata Manager doesn't seem to be functioning properly for quite some time with no resolution in sight.

Any other ideas would be helpful. I would even consider some type of VBA from excel that can draw in this information if it were available.

Our universes generally have 100s of objects and many tables, so an automated Metadata pull for a given Universe would be ideal.

Make sure you are using the tool version corresponding to your BO version (I'm using GetSetUniverse_3_6_01.xls for BOE 3.1). You need to make sure macros are enabled after you open the spreadsheet. Then you will see GetSetUniverse3.6.01 as a menu drop-down button. I'm using it, and it works well.

We have recently found someone that had a working solution to this question, that didn't have any error messages. Thanks for all the responses though.
