Please help with customizing price calculation in CRM 7 !!!

Hi, Experts!

I have a problem with customizing price calculation for product. Product is a bank's credit. I want to fill credit's data (percentage rate, pay term, monthly comission and other conditions) in condition record and after pricing procedure done i could saw results in WebUI (monthly fee, total rpice of product and etc.). 1) How to do that? Can i change or insert some fields (i mean columns) in product area (for example when i want to create opportunity)? 2) How can i change or insert calculation rule? 3) Can i insert formula in calsulation? Help me please step by step.

Thank for your help.

    Hello Faraviper

Unfortunately I don't have CRM system handy to walk you through the steps.

But I have worked on CRM before to suggest using characteristics and variant pricing for this.

Use characteristics to denote credit's data (percentage rate, pay term, monthly commission and other conditions) and based on the user selection lead it to a price using Variant Configuration pricing concept.

    Hope this helps.

    • Hi faraviper,

As you are using an FS product (Financial Services product, product of type 7), you can/should/must not make this product configurable and therefore you do not need PME (in contrast to e.g. physical products = type 1 or service products = type 2, which can be configurable).

Instead generate the FS product hierarchy BASE_FS if you haven't yet. Use product category BASE_FS_LOAN05 and item category FS06. The relevant set type is CRM_PROD_FS002 "Term".

You still need IPC, it's always needed for pricing in CRM.
