Gurus,
When i take a list thro MM60,i am getting all matl list. When i take a report thro MC.9,then some matl numbers are missing. Why?
Hi,
MM60 - Material List, created material list for the particular Plant by material type & material group.
MC.9 - Material Analysis Stocks - means stock in previous periods can be a useful indicator in analyzing plant stock positions through time per material or material group.
So, stock position in MC.9 shown standard report and MM60 created all material list.
Hope, it is useful for you.

SAP report MC.9 offers functionality of viewing stocks in previous periods.
Although your current stock is zero and if any posting done during that period then material will appear in MC.9 list.
MM60 report is generally referred by finance ppl for having the list of all valuated materials maintained for that val. area (plant). Material with Accounting view will appear in MM60 irrespective price & stock.

In MC.9 there is Period to analyze, where selection is by month, may be the missing materials are created in the month range. For better result give a huge gap in months. and make sure to use plant and material combination only for both reports, as if any other criteria applied, reports can do different.

If your material is special stock material like sales order stock, project stock. it wont show in this report.
You have to user MBBS to see allthose materials.
Your total inventory = mc.9+mbbs
